The feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was marked
with a special color in Montalban, in the Philippines. Six (6) of our Novice
Brothers made their First Profession, three (3) Brothers renewed their vows and
eleven (11) Postulants entered the Novitiate.
These were three beautiful event which gathered, religious
brothers and priests, friends and family members in the Chapel of the Saint
Luigi Orione Seminary on this June 29, 2019, while the universal Church
celebrates the Pillars of the Church and the Pope’s Day.
The Holy Eucharist for the profession and the renewal of
vows started at 10 am, presided by Rev. Fr. Stan ACHI, FDP, superior of the
Community of Montalban and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Martin MROZ, FDP, Regional
Superior, Rev. Fr. Fausto FRANCESCHI, FDP, Novice Master and the confreres
priests. In his homely, Father Martin emphasized on the meaning of the
religious profession and invited our newly profess to be example of perfection
and holiness in the living of their vows. He told them that that perfection can
be possible today by opening oneself to the people living in the peripheries
and the outcasts, the most poorest of our brothers and sisters.
After his homely, he invited Brother Jesus BERDIN, Brother Kenneth
PINEDA, Brother Vic VITUDIO, Brother Keven OPERIANO, Brother Jerick SERANDON and
Brother John Carl Angelo SARIO to make their vows of Poverty, Chastity and
Obedience for one year according to the Constitutions of the Little Work of
Divine Providence.
After the first profession, followed the renewal of vows of
Bro. Julius MAGUIJADO, Bro. Jan Mickail BANGCAYA and Bro. Estaris EREGIE.
In the afternoon, exactly at 2:30pm, a new group of eleven
young men made officially their entrance in to the Novitiate. It is Nov. BONARES
Castillon Evelio, Nov. DAPO Relles Rolando, Nov. DOMINGUEZ Rodriguez Reynato II, Nov. ESPINAR Baluyot Kristian
Jude, Nov. ESPIÑA Cañones Jay, Nov. OBIS Talagtag Mark Jayson, Nov. OROS Garabel
Jackson, Nov. SAMILLANO Banesio Jenny Boy, Nov. SIERVO Co Eumar Sandy, Nov. TARNATE
Gonzales John Paul, and Nov. VALERTA Villanueva Mark Raph who have been
entrusted by Fr. Martin to Father Fausto to accompany them in this new stage of
their formation.
The Novitiate of Montalban, this year is supposed to count fifteen
(15) Novices, four (4) from India and these eleven (11) from the Philippines.
For matter of delay in their visa process, the Indian Novices will join
hopefully in the days to come.
We give thanks to God for the gifts of religious
life to our newly profess brothers and pray for those who entered the
Novitiate. With Don Orione, we say, Ave Maria and onwards.
